I, , hereby accept the position of Head Coach for Valley Youth Pop Warner, and as such, agree to the following:
1) I will be subject to all rules and regulations set forth by National Pop Warner, Peninsula Pop Warner and Valley Youth Pop Warner, and understand that these rules are subject to change during my term as a head coach.
2) I will work with the football or cheer team to which I am assigned, and I understand that I am responsible for the entire team during all Pop Warner activities.
3) I understand that my coaching duties include involving the parents of my team, and either my football or cheer team as much as possible in game attendance and fundraising activities. I also understand that as head coach, I am responsible for completing all paper work associated with my team and turning it in by the dates and times required.
4) I will attend all required meetings and will attend all fund raisers and clinics. I understand that if I miss 3 required meetings, fund raisers, I will be dismissed. On all clinics that are put on by either National or Peninsula Pop Warner, I must attend those, or I will be dismissed, as head coach. I do agree that I may send an assistant with pre-approval of the board.
5) I understand that I am responsible for recruiting assistant coaches for my team, and will provide the board with Coaches Applications of all my assistant coaches by specified date. I understand that any assistant coaches I wish to use will be fingerprinted and their coaching status is contingent upon the results of their criminal history report. I also understand that I may not except any coaches after the deadline, or this may be grounds for dismissal.
6) I understand that as a coach adult, I am responsible for all the kids on my team. As part of Pop Warner, I may not drop or dismiss a child from the program because of financial, or any other problems, he or she may have. All problems should be brought to the attention of the Board.
7) By initialing in the spaces provided below, I hereby acknowledge receipt of the following rules and guidelines, and have fully read and understand the same:
I understand that this contract will be reviewed each year, and renewed only after successful completion of all of the above guidelines, as determined by the Board.
By submitting this form you are stating that you have a read and understand the terms of this agreement and how they apply to you and that you have chosen to accept the terms of this agreement and that all the information provided by you is truthful and accurate to the best of your knowledge.
