2008 Schedule

Dealing with the Pop Warner schedule is no easy task. Any parent that has been through even one year of Pop Warner understands this. That being said, here is some insight into what you can expect this season.

• The schedule for league events such as Certification and Jamboree is already set by the league. The coaches, volunteers and board members at Valley Pop Warner have no control over this scheduling and are forced to accept it as much as the rest of the parents.
• While the weekends for the season games are known, the day (Saturday or Sunday), exact times and locations of the games can't be determined until the league knows how many teams will be competing during the season. This won't be known until Certification. After all of the teams have been certified, the league will issue a schedule for the first half of the season.
• Typically within a couple weeks of this, the league will provide the schedule for the rest of the season.
• The schedule is always subject to change. Typically changes involve game times but can also include dates, locations, & opponents.
